About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.
Students
Students are our first focus. Our mission is to provide a safe and orderly environment that will enable all students to reach their fullest academic and personal potential.
Parents
Parent support is the cornerstone for a successful relationship between RHS and home.
Counseling
Our counseling staff supports the academic performance, college-readiness, career development, and personal growth of each student.
Athletics
We offer 22 varsity sports, providing an opportunity for students with a variety of skills and interests to take part in athletic competitions.

With a history of over 50 years, RHS has provided education for extraordinary alumni.

GLUE Club

GLUE stands for "Greetings, we are the Language club Uniting Everyone" and our members want to help make English Learners feel more welcome at Rowland while also making new friends. We want students who know English well to help communicate with English Language learners to create a stronger environment. Our goal is to overcome language barriers and unify students of all cultures and languages for a better school environment. Throughout the year, we will make sure to learn about new cultures.
