About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

New MT. SAC Class At RHS

We are excited to announce that Mt. SAC will be offering a class at RHS 2nd semester during 7th period.

The class is called Intercultural Communications. Here is how the course is described in the Mt. SAC Course Catalog:

SPCH 7- Intercultural Communication
3 Units (Degree Applicable, CSU, UC)
Lecture: 54 hours
Theoretical dynamics of culture within communication contexts, and a practical exploration into improving intercultural communication competence for more effective interactions with others in a diverse society.

The class is for seniors only, it is free, and it is UC/CSU transferrable. This is a great way for seniors to jumpstart their college career!
