About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

Students are our first focus. Our mission is to provide a safe and orderly environment that will enable all students to reach their fullest academic and personal potential.

Biliteracy Award

Seniors, if you think you qualify for the Biliteracy Award, please come to room P-22 at the beginning of lunch either on Mondays or Fridays to pick up an application. Bring a copy of your transcript (from Homelink is OK). Please be sure to highlight the foreign language courses you have taken. Also, calculate and write the GPA only for the courses you took at Rowland High School. Applications are due in room P-22 by Friday, April 17th, by 3:00.
