About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

Summer Programs

Junior State of America Pre-College Academic Programs for Future Leaders (grades 9-12). If you are a student with a passionate interest in politics and current events, this program may interest you. Summer schools are held on the campuses of Georgetown, Princeton, Stanford and University of Virginia. There are scholarship and fundraising programs available. There are only 5 spots and require a nomination. See Mrs. Valdez by January 25th if you are interested in being nominated.
