April 4, 2024 -- The Rowland High School Hideout was filled today with students for an assembly not knowing there was about to be a huge surprise. Southern California Edison named Ruby Wu as a Edison Scholar and surprised her with a $50,000 STEM Scholarship for college!
Her family was also on hand for this life-changing event. Each year Edison International awards 30 high school seniors this prestigious scholarship that recognizes students with big dreams to help them succeed in college and make the world a brighter place. Congratulations Ruby!
