About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

Students are our first focus. Our mission is to provide a safe and orderly environment that will enable all students to reach their fullest academic and personal potential.

Year Vietnam, 1969 - 1970

Memoir Let us not forget the ultimate sacrifice made by two of our Rowland comrades in Vietnam - Sergeant David Rush class of 1966 died January 26, 1969 due to hostile small arms fire; and Private First Class Joe Munoz class of 1969 died September 28, 1970 due to hostile action.
