Theory of Knowledge

Welcome!! My name is Clare Ruesga and I am so fortunate to be able to call Rowland High School my home away from home! I was born and raised in sunny Southern California. I graduated from Arrowhead Christian Academy and went on to Cal Poly Pomona to earn a BA in Philosophy (law and society) with a minor in English. I stayed on at Cal Poly to earn my teaching credential and MA in Education (special education that is). I taught many years in an SDC classroom at RHS before I moved into my current position as Teacher Librarian. Back to school I went to earn a second teaching credential in school library services as well as the Masters to go with it. I was able to complete the program at Azusa Pacific University. When I am not in the library or teaching Theory of Knowledge, I am on campus somewhere advising Speech and Debate, Peer Counseling, or the Baking Club. I am blessed to have two wonderful daughters (both RUSD students) and a supportive husband/best friend of 21 years. In my free time I love to ride my horses and go to the lake. Oh, duh.....and READ books; a lot of books. By the way, I am a huge New England Patriots fan. Come by the library and say hi!
